Design your Victron system

Two ways to plan: a guided wizard that sizes the system for you, or a drag-and-drop schematic builder to lay out your own design. Planning tool only — MESSX confirms final models, wire/fuse sizing, and code compliance.

Your requirements

48V is standard for most commercial & larger systems.
Not sure? Use the load calculator first.
The largest load running at once — sizes the inverter/charger.
How long the bank should carry the load with no charging.
Seattle averages ~3–4; sunnier regions 5–6.

Estimates based on Victron sizing rules and a ~5.1 kWh LiFePO4 module. Wire/fuse sizing assumes a short (~10 ft) battery-to-inverter run; confirm the full design with MESSX.

Circuit details

ABYC uses 105°C boat-cable ampacity (outside engine spaces). Marine non-critical circuits may allow 10% drop.

3% is a common target for main DC runs.

Estimates use 75°C copper ampacity, a 125% continuous-load factor, and the next standard fuse size. Always confirm derating, terminations, and code requirements with MESSX before installing.
