FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much can battery storage actually save my business?
It depends on your rate structure and load profile, but facilities with high demand charges or time-of-use rates often see meaningful reductions on the demand and energy portions of their bill. With Dynamic ESS managing dispatch, those savings happen automatically. The only way to know your number is a bill analysis — which we do for free.
Why does MESSX build on Victron Energy?
Victron's components are modular, field-proven, and openly serviceable — the same hardware trusted in demanding off-grid, marine, and industrial installations. That means no proprietary lock-in, easy expansion, and remote monitoring through the VRM portal for the full life of your system.
How long does a project take?
A free assessment usually takes under a week. From signed agreement to commissioning, most C&I projects run a few months — driven largely by permitting and utility interconnection timelines, which we manage for you.
Can the system scale as my facility grows?
Yes. MultiPlus-II and Quattro inverter/chargers stack in parallel and across three phases, and the Lynx distribution system makes adding battery capacity a bolt-on rather than a rebuild. We size for today and leave clear headroom for tomorrow.
Is a battery system safe to install at my facility?
Yes. We design to UL 9540 and NFPA 855 standards, with battery management, thermal controls, and fire-safety measures built in, plus full code compliance and local permitting.
What happens after installation?
We monitor your system 24/7 through the VRM portal, report on performance, and push firmware updates and dispatch tuning remotely. The system keeps capturing savings for its full lifetime, and you can watch it work from any device.
